PROGRAM STRUCTURE :
  • The BBA in Hospital Administration has been mapped to the job roles in demand in the Hospital and Health Care domain.Durinhg the three years full time program the student will get the knowledge of and skills harnessed in a wide gamut of subjects pertaining to Hospital administration field like Quality Management, Medical Tourim,Medico-Legal practices, Organ Transplant, Third Party Agreement, Health Care Schemes, Patient Care ,Bio Waste Management, Hospital Planning and Administration along with the general management subjects aligned to the health care industry such as Marketing of Health Care Services,HRM and Labour Laws in Hospital, Health Economics and Health Statistics etc. Students will get hands on practical training and skilling exposure with regular concurrent field work sessions with the hospitals. To supplement the regular practical training students will practice at the campus “Hospital Lab”. In the third and fourth Semesters students will do Internships and live projects and major Research project in a hospital.
  • The entire curriculum has been so structured that the student will be employable and competent to handle individual job responsibility at any hospital after the three year graduate program.
SPECIALIZED LABS & WORKSHOP :
  • In keeping with the Applied Science University’s commitment towards providing practical hands on training to the students, a small Dummy Hospital will be set up on campus, which includes, the reception area/lobby, Billing counter, Patient registration counter, OPD.A blood bank. A pathology lab and basic lifesaving procedure e.g. CPR, First Aid etc. set up. The students will be able to get experiential learning in the Hospital Environ within the University campus along with their class room lessons.

Note 1:-
a) Academic Fees includes Tuition fees, Regular exam fees, Library books & e-journals, Laboratory fees & Development fees.
b) Medical Charges of Rs. 5000/- for basic medical facilities on campus are Non-Refundable.

a) Hostel facility is compulsory for PG Courses
b) Hostel Charges includes Hostel Stay, Mess/Dining charges & Non Refundable Laundromat* fee of Rs. 20,000/-
** Laundromat facility includes washing, drying & folding of clothes upto 50 loads per year, 1 load equals 5 kgs of clothes; ironing charges payable directly to vendor @ Rs. 6/- per piece

Note 3:-
a) Academic fees shall be increased up to 15% each year as per the University policies during the period of the program at the discretion of the Management.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Passed XII (10+2) or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council/University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of reserved category.
  • Candidates aspiring to join BBA programs offered by Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) have to appear for the Symbiosis Applied Entrance Test (SAET).

NRI / International Students

NRI / International Students – A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any program of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences. In order to promote international understanding between Indian and foreign students, SUAS has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.
