PROGRAM STRUCTURE :
  • The BBA Pharmaceutical Management has been mapped to the job roles in demand in the Pharmaceutical sector. During the program tenure of 3 years the program builds a strong foundation broadly in three major domain viz:
  • Management (Fundamental of Management, Principles of Accounting, Marketing Management, Business Communication, Financial Management, Organizational Behaviour, Business Environment, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship development, Consumer Behaviour, Industrial and Service Marketing, Strategic Management, Brand Management, Project Management, Sales management and sales promotion, Labour law, Total quality management)
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences (Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical chemistry, Health Education & Community Pharmacy, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Instrumentation, Basic Pharmacology, National regulatory environment, Basic Pharmaceutics)
  • Advance Pharmaceutical Management (Pharmaceutical Business Operations, Pharmaceutical Sales & CRM, Drug Store and Business management, Advertizing in Pharmaceutical sector, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Fundamental of R&D Management, Information management in Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaco-Economics, Supply Chain Management in Pharmaceutical Sector, Intellectual Property Rights in Pharmaceuticals, Pharmaceutical Product Management)
  • Depending on the stream of specialization appropriate training are planned. In the 5 & 6 semesters a project need to be prepared on real time problems. Overall the course is structured in a way to give a well-rounded knowledge and practical training to the student on which he can build further and become a valuable contributor in the professional world.
SPECIALIZED LABS & WORKSHOP :
  • Laboratory experience is considered to be an integral part of our undergraduate program in Pharmaceutical management. There are courses oriented laboratories where a student does experimental work leading to a better understanding of the physical phenomena.
  • SUAS laboratories are fully equipped with modern state-of-art equipment meeting high standards. The objective of inculcating laboratory session as an integral part of a program is to prepare students to lead, built and manage Pharmaceutical business. The laboratory practices enhances the technical and scientific skills of students to equip them with the knowledge, endurance, and expertise to tackle the current challenges faced by Pharmaceutical Sector.
  • The laboratory sessions are properly aligned with the theory knowledge, particularly to the fundamentals of Pharmaceutical/Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Instrumentation and regulatory affairs (mainly includes GMP and Other guidelines). Development of technical and scientific aptitude in a student is a major objective of the laboratory sessions in a management program.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Passed XII (10+2) or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council/University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of reserved category.
  • Candidates aspiring to join BBA programs offered by Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) have to appear for the Symbiosis Applied Entrance Test (SAET).

NRI / International Students

NRI/International Students – A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any program of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences. In order to promote international understanding between Indian and foreign students, SUAS has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.
