PROGRAM STRUCTURE :
  • The BBA in BFSI has been mapped to the job roles in demand in the financial sector. During the program tenure of 3 years the program builds a strong foundation of Basics of Business Administration in banking, Basics of Business Economics, Basics of Law, Basics of Research Methodology, Basics of Information management, Corporate Taxation, Share and Security transactions, Financial Accounting, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Property Insurance, Basics of Credit Business, Personal Insurance, Corporate Finance, Business Policies of financial services, Money and Currencies, etc. It also builds an understanding of the financial sector as a whole. In the 3 & 4 semesters student can enhance their domain knowledge in leasing followed by asset management in 3rd year.
  • Additionally the student can opt for the electives to enhance their domain knowledge in 5 & 6 semesters. Depending on the stream of specialization appropriate trainings are planned. Additionally depending on the stream of specialization appropriate virtual lab classes are planned to give an insight of the stock trading and banking. In the 5 & 6 semesters a project need to be prepared on real time problems. Overall the course is structured in a way to give a well-rounded knowledge and practical training to the student on which he can build further and become a valuable contributor in the professional world.
SPECIALIZED BANKING & FINANCE LABS :
  • The University will set up specialized Banking labs on the campus to enable the students to develop skills and obtain hands on experience in the Banking sector.
  • A HDFC mock bank is being set-up to provide students exposure to real-life banking scenarios.

a) Hostel facility is compulsory for PG Courses
b) Hostel Charges includes Hostel Stay, Mess/Dining charges & Non Refundable Laundromat* fee of Rs. 20,000/-
** Laundromat facility includes washing, drying & folding of clothes upto 50 loads per year, 1 load equals 5 kgs of clothes; ironing charges payable directly to vendor @ Rs. 6/- per piece

Note 3:-
a) Academic fees shall be increased up to 15% each year as per the University policies during the period of the program at the discretion of the Management.

b) Pay per use bus service for city trip for hostel students @ Rs. 100/- per trip (to & fro)

Discretionary Quota

Few Seats are reserved as Discretionary Quota Seats. Only students with high academic record are considered for Discretionary Quota Seats. The fees for Discretionary Quota Seats will be double the Academic fees for Indian Students to be paid to the University.

DURATION
Three Years
ELIGIBILITY:

  • Passed XII (10+2) or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board/ Council/University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of reserved category.
  • Candidates aspiring to join BBA programs offered by Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) have to appear for the Symbiosis Applied Entrance Test (SAET).

NRI/International Students:

A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any program of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences.

In order to promote International understanding between Indian and Foreign students, SUAS has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.
