Bachelor of Business Administration in Retail Management
PROGRAM STRUCTURE :
- The BBA in Retail has been mapped to the job roles in demand in the Retail sector. During the program tenure of 3 years the program builds a strong foundation of Basics of Business Management, Basics of Business Economics, Basics of Law, Basics of Research Methodology, Basics of Information management, Financial Accounting, Business Mathematics, Statistics, Corporate Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Retail Marketing, Quantitative Methods in Retail, Corporate Management etc. It also builds an understanding of the retail sector as a whole. In the 3rd year the student can opt for the electives to enhance their domain knowledge. Depending on the stream of specialization appropriate training are planned. In the 5 & 6 semesters a project need to be prepared on real time problems. Overall the course is structured in a way to give a well-rounded knowledge and practical training to the student on which he can build further and become a valuable contributor in the professional world.
SPECIALIZED RETAIL LABS :
- The University will set up specialized Retail labs on the campus to enable the students to develop skills and obtain hands on experience in the Retail sector.
- A mock store, Visual Merchandising Lab, fully functional retail store by Future Group are some of the facilities being set up on campus.

Few Seats are reserved as Discretionary Quota Seats. Only students with high academic record are considered for Discretionary Quota Seats. The fees for Discretionary Quota Seats will be double the Academic fees for Indian Students to be paid to the University.NOTE: – 1)Academic fees shall be increased up to 15% each year as per the University policies during the period of the program at the discretion of the Management. 2)Complete program fees for 1st year must be paid at the time of admission.
A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any program of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences.
In order to promote International understanding between Indian and Foreign students, SUAS has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.
