Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE :
- Focus Areas: Auto Manufacturing, Auto Design & Testing, Mechatronics
- The curriculum has been designed in consultation with the industry to ensure that the students are job ready and employable on completion of the course from the University. Each course within the program is modular and credit based. Learning outcomes and skill competency levels expected from students have been clearly defined. The Program structure allows multi-entry & multi-exit facility to students. The policy for multi-entry & exit shall be as prescribed by the statutory bodies of the University. Vertical mobility will be provided from certificate to degree programs to ensure career progression from one job role to the next. The students will have the option to accumulate and transfer credits to relevant programs of the University over a period of time.
SPECIALIZED LABS & WORKSHOP :
- State of art labs, Automobile & Manufacturing workshop will be established to impart practical training to the students. Emphasis will be on lab work, skill training and practicals.The University will set up specialized Automobile & Manufacturing labs with skill training equipment imported from Germany. These specialised skill training kits will enable the students to develop a strong foundation of the basics and build complex applications through extensive practical work and real life simulations.A Mahindra & Mahindra Service Station on the campus will provide students on the job training through the company.

Few Seats are reserved as Discretionary Quota Seats. Only students with high academic record are considered for Discretionary Quota Seats. The fees for Discretionary Quota Seats will be double the Academic fees for Indian Students to be paid to the University.
NOTE: – 1)Academic fees shall be increased up to 15% each year as per the University policies during the period of the program at the discretion of the Management. 2)Complete program fees for 1st year must be paid at the time of admission.
Bachelor of Technology in
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects namely Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified from Association of Indian Universities (AIU) by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any programme of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences.
In order to promote International understanding between Indian and Foreign students, Symbiosis has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.
