The School of Data Science has organized student development programme on Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to provide participants with a foundational understanding of GenAI and its practical applications.

The session began with an introduction to GenAI, explaining what Generative AI is, how it differs from traditional AI, and its growing importance across industries such as education, healthcare, software development, and content creation.

Next, the session covered various GenAI tools currently in use. Participants were introduced to popular tools and platforms that enable text generation, image creation, code assistance, and data analysis. The final part of the session focused on the mathematics behind GenAI.
