Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), Indore, proudly hosted its 7th Convocation Ceremony on Wednesday, 12th November 2025, at the university campus. The event was a grand celebration of academic excellence, skill-based learning, and the remarkable achievements of its graduating students.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Inder Singh Parmar, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education, Ayush & Technical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Gautam Tetwal, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Skill Development and Employment, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as the Guest of Honour.
Mr. Amit Pandey, Business Head & Senior Executive Vice President – Small Business Enterprises, Business Loans & Direct Channel (India), Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Mr. Kumar Rajagopalan, Executive Director & CEO, Retailers Association of India (RAI), were present as Distinguished Guests.
The Convocation was presided over by Hon’ble Prof. (Dr.) S. B. Mujumdar, Chancellor, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Founder and President, Symbiosis Foundation; Hon’ble Dr. Swati Mujumdar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences; Prof. (Dr.) Vinith Kumar Nair, Vice Chancellor, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences; and Dr. Manish Jha, Registrar.
Degrees were conferred upon graduating students from diverse disciplines including Computer Science and IT, Mechatronics, Banking Financial Services & Insurance, Retail Management, Digital Media & Marketing, Data Science, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
In his inspiring address, Prof. (Dr.) S. B. Mujumdar emphasized the importance of education that integrates knowledge with human values and nurtures global citizens. Dr. Swati Mujumdar highlighted Symbiosis’ mission of bridging the gap between academia and industry through innovation and skill-oriented learning.
Chief Guest Shri Inder Singh Parmar appreciated the University’s efforts in advancing quality skill education in Madhya Pradesh and beyond. Guest of Honour Dr. Gautam Tetwal lauded the institution’s initiatives in fostering employability and entrepreneurship among youth.
The dignitaries congratulated Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences for being ranked #2 in NIRF 2025 under the Skill University Category, recognizing its consistent contribution to skill-based higher education.
The ceremony concluded with an inspiring address by Prof. (Dr.) Vinith Kumar Nair, who congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to become responsible, ethical, and future-ready professionals. Dr. Manish Jha, Registrar, proposed the vote of thanks, marking a memorable conclusion to the event with the National Anthem.
