MEGA Book Exhibition- 8-9 March 2019

नास्ति विद्यासमो बन्धुर्नास्ति विद्यासमः सुहृत् । नास्ति विद्यासमं वित्तं नास्ति विद्यासमं सुखम् ॥

अपूर्वः कोऽपि कोशोड्यं विद्यते तव भारति ।  व्ययतो वृद्धि मायाति क्षयमायाति सञ्चयात् ॥

It is rightly said that “There is no brother or friend like vidhya (Knowledge) and there is no wealth and happiness like Vidhya” Only Saraswati devi of Vidhya can be amplified and enhanced when it is shared / or consumed with others rather than saving it to oneself.

Book Exhibition– a day when all book publishers / distributors / vendors and sometimes even authors gathers at a place chosen to display the collection of wisdom from which every book lover chooses the book of his or her taste

So to share knowledge, to spread gems of wisdom many publishers visited our campus with more than 5000 titles in various subjects. They also displayed books on competition exam series, motivational, Inspirational, Spiritual, Leadership, Fictions, Novels, Mysteries, Autobiographies and biographies etc.

Many renowned publishers like Tata Mcgraw hill, Wiley, Sage, Oxford, Pearson, Taxmann, Jaico, Newage, BSP, Himalaya, S Chand, and PHI exhibited the books. The day started with an inaugural ceremony Hon Vice Chancellor Dr. Sanjay Kumar cut the ribbon and lit the lamp infront Maa Saraswati idol followed by Dean Academics Dr. Anil Besan, Mr. Sanjay Saxena and Dr. Jayamala Patil Deputy Librarian.

Media team also covered the event and Hon Vice Chancellor sir shared keynote views emphasizing on print knowledge and its authenticity.

All the two days students and faculties were busy in buying the books on discount.
