Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), Indore, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Retailers Association of India (RAI) to establish a Centre of Excellence in Retail (CoE–Retail) at SUAS. This strategic collaboration aims to create a hub for retail innovation, skill development, applied research, and industry–academia partnerships, positioning SUAS as a national leader in retail education and technology-driven solutions.
The CoE will focus on upskilling and reskilling programs, retail technology labs, industry projects, and entrepreneurship support, while fostering strong linkages between academia and leading retail brands. Through this initiative, SUAS and RAI will jointly drive innovation in areas such as AI, automation, omnichannel retail, and digital transformation, empowering students and professionals to thrive in the evolving retail landscape.
