B.Tech in Computer Science & Information Technology
B. Tech in Computer Science & Information Technology is a defined platform to learn basics and advanced programming about computers. This program nurtures aspirants having an interest in grasping computer technology from grass root to zenith. At Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences B. Tech in Computer Science & Information Technology course, we co-create an ideal ambience for learning through real-time skill development and support from industry-experienced faculty to unlock a new tomorrow.
Our Skill Based Curriculum for B.Tech. CSIT has been designed by renowned Academicians, Industry Practitioners and Technology Leaders; and is based on the following philosophy :
- Each subject has got a corresponding practical and skill component, and the 70% weightage is given to practical/skill.
- We have introduced high growth verticals as domains from 3rd sem onwards namely – BFSI, Retail and e-commerce and Emerging Technologies. A student selects any of these domains and studies it during 3rd -6th semesters. This helps him get into a good internship/job and be productive from day one.
- The curriculum has been designed in NSQF format and QP/NOSs have been mapped accordingly.

The University has set up specialized IT Labs to enable the students to develop a strong foundation of the basics and build complex applications through extensive practical work and industry-sponsored projects.
Computer Network Lab: Equipped with latest networking-related devices, the lab facilitates students to perform Computer Network practicals and Network simulations to provide a solution to the practical problems faced by computer scientists.
Algorithms Lab: The lab provides a requisite environment for Design and Analysis of Algorithms for solving complex problems in the field of computer science. Students execute all data structure and other algorithm related practicals in the lab. The latest platforms/compilers are provided to the students to run their programs.
Programing Lab: This lab gives the students an opportunity for learning and a better understanding of the basic concepts and constructs of computer programming. This lab prepares our students to learn all new paradigm of programming which is getting popular day by day.
DBMS Lab: The Lab is dedicated to Database related practicals. High configuration computer systems installed with the software’s so that students can execute their Database related projects and assignments.
Projects Lab: The lab is dedicated for the students to develop their Minor and Major projects. All project related software is installed in this lab to fulfill the requirements of development.
