1 Objective: The Ethnic Day celebration aims to promote cultural diversity and foster unity among students. It provides a platform for BBA students to showcase their traditional attire, express their cultural pride, and engage in friendly competition through a ramp walk on the red carpet. 2. Target Audience: The event is primarily organized for BBA students, encouraging their active participation and fostering a sense of community and cultural awareness within the college. 3. Class Coordinator: The event is coordinated by the designated class coordinator, who oversees planning and execution. The coordinator ensures smooth communication between students and organizers and manages the logistics for the ramp walk and prize distribution. 4. Format: The event follows a competitive format where students participate in a red-carpet ramp walk, showcasing ethnic outfits from various cultures. Judging will be based on presentation, cultural representation, and creativity. Winners will be selected and awarded prizes based on predefined criteria. 5. Agenda and Activities: Opening Ceremony: Introduction by the event host, highlighting the importance of cultural diversity and the purpose of Ethnic Day. Ramp Walk: Students will walk down the red carpet in their ethnic attire, with judges observing for creativity, poise, and cultural representation. Judging: A panel of judges will evaluate the participants based on the set criteria. Prize Distribution: Winners will be announced and awarded prizes for categories such as “Best Ethnic Attire” and “Best Walk.” Closing Ceremony: Concluding remarks and acknowledgment of participants and organizers. |

12. | Student Feedback: – The Ethnic Day celebration was an incredible experience that allowed us to embrace and showcase our diverse cultures. The event was well-organized, and the ramp walk on the red carpet added an exciting and glamorous touch. It was a great opportunity to express our pride in our heritage through traditional attire, and the friendly competition made it even more enjoyable.
The coordination by the class coordinator was excellent, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The event format was fun and engaging, and I really appreciated how it highlighted cultural diversity. Walking on the red carpet in front of our peers and the judging panel was both thrilling and memorable. The prize distribution at the end added a sense of accomplishment and celebration. I felt that everyone’s efforts were appreciated, and it brought our batch closer together. Overall, Ethnic Day was a wonderful celebration of our unity in diversity, and I look forward to more events like this in the future. Thank you to the organizers for such a memorable experience. |
