Introduction:
The school of computer Science & Information Technology had organized a Seminar on – “Face Recognition Using Deep Learning: Unveiling the Process” on 28th June 2023.
On 28th June 2023, an insightful online webinar titled “Face Recognition Using Deep Learning: Unveiling the Process” was organized by School of CSIT, SUAS, Indore. The webinar was conducted by Ms. Shruti Jain, an esteemed Assistant Professor at SCSIT, Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore. The primary aim of the webinar was to enlighten participants about face recognition techniques utilizing deep learning and to unveil the underlying processes involved.
Webinar Platform and Attendance: The webinar was conducted in an online mode, leveraging a web conferencing platform that facilitated seamless virtual communication. Participants from various backgrounds and regions were able to join the session, showcasing the global outreach of the event.
Overview of the Webinar:
Ms. Shruti Jain commenced the webinar by providing an overview of face recognition technology and its vast applications in today’s digital era. The rapid advancements in deep learning techniques have significantly impacted the accuracy and efficiency of face recognition algorithms, which formed the crux of the discussion.
The webinar initiated with a comprehensive introduction to face recognition, wherein Ms. Shruti Jain elaborated on its significance and widespread adoption in diverse sectors such as security, biometrics, and human-computer interaction.
