Guest Lecture by Mr. Jayant Dhawale -Marketing head of Amul,Indore
The students of Symbiosis University’s BBA Retail Management were addressed by Mr. Jayant Dhawale, Marketing Head, Amul. He imparted knowledge to the students about marketing, supply chain management and logistics. He said that Amul is the flagship brand in the FMCG sector which manufactures most of the perishable goods. He explained why plastic bottles are being used instead of glass bottles and also explain regarding their shift to tetra pack. He also shared with the students how Amul launch product in the market. Earlier, students went to industrial trip to Ujjain’s Amul factory and understood the storing and packaging process of milk there.
