Introduction:
The IEEE Day Celebration held on October 3, 2023, at the Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS) in Indore was a grand event that showcased the spirit of innovation and technological advancement. This event was organized by the SUAS – IEEE Student Branch and marked an important milestone in the university’s commitment to promoting excellence in engineering and technology.
The event commenced at 2:30 PM with a warm welcome to all attendees. Dr. Durgesh Kumar Mishra, the Director of the School of CSIT, delivered the welcome address, expressing his enthusiasm for the IEEE Day celebration and its significance in fostering technological innovation among students. Dr. Prithvi Yadav, the Vice-Chancellor of SUAS, also welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of IEEE in academic and professional growth.
The event featured two distinguished guest speakers. Mr. Shubham Gupta, the Student Activities Chair of IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section, delivered an inspiring talk on the role of IEEE in shaping the future of technology and engineering. Dr. Dharmendra Bajpai, Founder & Director of First Logic Infosystem, shared valuable insights into the industry and the opportunities it offers to aspiring technologists.
The event included a series of technical talks and presentations by faculty members and students. These sessions covered a wide array of topics, including emerging technologies, research projects, and career prospects in the fields of computer science, mechatronics engineering.
A dedicated booth was set up to promote IEEE membership among students and faculty. Information on IEEE’s benefits and how to become a member was made accessible to all interested attendees.
The event provided ample networking opportunities for students to connect with industry professionals, faculty members, and peers. This facilitated knowledge exchange and the sharing of innovative ideas.
The IEEE Day Celebration on October 3, 2023, was a resounding success, fostering enthusiasm and innovation among students and faculty members at SUAS, Indore. The event not only promoted technological advancements but also inspired the next generation of engineers and innovators.
