The Induction Program of School of Management at SUAS, Indore held on 26th July 2018. The Upbeat day started with cheerful, happy faces of fresher’s looking forward to starting their #professional #journey. The itinerary was quite varied and had different flavors in store for the students. The introductory and Welcome speech was given by HOS (SBFSI) Dr. Prafulla Ranjan and Mr. Mahendra Padhy, HOS (SRM) followed by Industry- academia interface. Senior Industry professionals graced the occasion and to name the few: we had Mr. Prabir Bose (Senior Banking Professional), Mr. Mohan Vatnani (Insurance Sector Veteran) who shared their experiences about Banking and Insurance Sector. The session was continued by Mr. Prafulla Shukla, Operations Manager Walmart and Mr. Vikaram Fauzdar – Store Manager, Pantaloons as both shared their views on future of the retail industry. Later Mr. Ashish Bulakh (TPO) had an interaction with the students regarding Training and Placement cell of the SUAS, Indore.
Second half was more #entertaining and had array of colors where both #education and entertainment were involved, it showcased an #interesting#motivational #management movie that was analyzed and management lessons that could be derived out of it were dealt by two virtuosos Mr. Akhilesh Sengar-(Vertical Head – HR at Idea Cellular Ltd.), and coordinator IMA student Chapter Mr. Jaykant Pandey. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Mahendra Padhy.
