Internal Hackathon Report (24-Hour Event)
Event Overview: The hackathon took place at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, from 9th September 2024 to 10th September 2024, lasting 24 hours. A total of 28 teams participated, with students from various departments, including B. Tech CSIT, SME, B. Sc DS, BBA BFSI, and DMM.
Problem Statements & Implementation: Participants selected problem statements from the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) Portal and worked on implementing solutions within the given 24-hour timeframe.
Assessment Process:
Internal jury members conducted two rounds of assessments. The panel included:

For the final pitching round, an external jury evaluated the teams, consisting of:

Mr. Ram Chug, Senior Developer, Impetus
Outcome: Out of the 28 participating teams, 4 teams were selected based on the quality and feasibility of their ideas (PS : Enhancement of Permanently Shadowed Regions (PSR) of Lunar Craters Captured by OHRC of Chandrayaan-2 , Live Location Tracking, Smart Competency Diagnostic and Candidate Profile Score Calculator, Women Safety Analytics). These teams will now upload their ideas to the SIH Portal for further consideration.
Organizers: The entire event was organized by the student committee under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the hackathon was Dr. Neha Gupta, Deputy Director of SCSIT.
The hackathon fostered creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, giving students practical experience in addressing real-world challenges.
