Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Mission

The objective is to create and institutionalize a strong quality culture through systematic, consistent, and catalytic initiatives. The focus is on enhancing the overall effectiveness of teaching–learning processes, research activities, and industry engagement. By adopting transparent, inclusive, and data-driven practices, the aim is to ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction. Additionally, the commitment extends to nurturing globally competent professionals through outcome-based education and the development of applied skills.

Functions

  1. Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for academic and administrative activities.
  2. Facilitation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty development.
  3. Collection and analysis of feedback from stakeholders on teaching-learning and institutional processes.
  4. Dissemination of information on quality parameters in higher education.
  5. Organization of inter- and intra-institutional workshops and seminars on quality-related themes.
  6. Documentation of programs/activities leading to quality improvement.
  7. Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) for submission to NAAC.
  8. Coordination of internal and external academic audits and follow-up actions.
  9. Promotion of best practices and quality initiatives within departments.
  10. Maintenance of institutional database through MIS for decision-making and quality assurance.
