A one-day program focusing on Digital Signatures and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) was organized by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC) Bangalore in association with Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore. The event was hosted by the School of Computer Science and Information Technology (SCSIT) and saw a gathering of eminent personalities from academia, industry, and government.

The event commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Shri Arvind Kumar, Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCDA) from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Shri Arvind Kumar delivered the keynote address, highlighting the critical role of digital signatures in securing online transactions and the importance of PKI in ensuring data integrity and authentication in the digital age.

Dr. N.M. Biradar, the Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, attended as the Special Guest. In his address, Dr. Biradar emphasized the need for academic institutions to integrate advanced technologies like PKI into their curriculum to prepare students for the challenges of the digital era.

The program also featured Shri Balai and Mohhaband Misba, scientists from CDAC, who served as Guests of Honor. They provided in-depth presentations on the technical aspects of digital signatures and PKI, discussing their implementation, benefits, and potential challenges. Their sessions included live demonstrations and case studies that illustrated the practical applications of these technologies in various sectors.
