On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, School of Retail Management organized an interactive session with renowned social activists Mr Gyanendra Purohit and Mrs Monica Purohit, directors of Anand Services Society, Indore.

The session focused on their struggles in upbringing and educating deaf and mute children.  The intention was to create awareness among the students and instigate compassion towards the underprivileged.

Since twenty-one years, Mr. & Mrs Purohit have been struggling for these children to make them self-reliant so that they get equally recognized in society. Their unmatched dedication and hard work was also recognized by ZEE TV and they were invited to a show hosted by Mr Amitabh Bachchan. The video of that program was also shown to the students.
