A workshop was organized on 31^st July 2021 by the School of Banking, Financial Services & Insurance Management on the topic “Setting up of perspective at the beginning of a career”. The objective of the webinar was to make students ready for the upcoming internships and setting up the right perspective for the future. The resource person for the workshop was Mr. P S Shreyas Nair, Recruiting Senior Specialist, J. P. Morgan (India). Dr. Navdeep Barwal, Deputy Director, SBFSIM introduced the speaker to the audience. Mr. Nair started the session by emphasizing various points which students should take into consideration while doing internships or in their initial jobs. He listed quite a few skills which are of utmost importance at the beginning of the career. Students found the session interesting and raised a lot of queries. The session was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Abhishek Tripathy, Director, SBFSIM.
