The challenges of Omni channel Retail
School of Retail Management had organized a skill conclave on 27th August 2021, on the theme ‘The challenges of Omni channel Retail, the Lessons and Insights from the Pandemic. The session started with an inaugural address by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Sir Dr. Charudatta Pathak. The session was chaired by the Key note speakers Mr. Sunil Verma Currently working with TCL Communications as Country Head –India Subcontinent and Mr. Shuvadeep Banerjee Chaudhuri National Head Annapurna Foods and Beverages. Omni Channel is the new Buzzword n the world of Retail, the students were educated about the challenges and problems in carrying out the Omni Channel of undergoing any business venture. The speakers shared their real time experience about the lessons learned during the pandemic. The session was further followed by a Panel discussion from Industry experts. The panelist involved Mr. Rameshwar Rathore, Brand Retail Head, Vivo, Mr. Sanjoy Missra, GM Sales, Mahindra Automotives, Mr. Vivek Kadam, DGM- partner capability (Training), Tally Solutions, Mr. Amit Jain State Head, Havells Motor Division, who discussed the present and future scenario of omni channel taking into consideration the global scenario. The panel discussion was Convened and moderated by Dr Siddharth Bajpai Director, School of Retail Management and coordinated by Dr. Yogita Mandhanya Faculty School of Retail Management. The panel discussion was followed by a workshop on Experiential Learning.
