Workshop on Introduction to AI and ML using Python
The school of computer Science & Technology had organized a Hand’s on Workshop on –“Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and A.I using Python” on 27 Feb 2020. From SIRI to self-driving cars, artificial intelligence (AI) is progressing rapidly. While science fiction often portrays AI as robots with human-like characteristics, AI can encompass anything from Google’s search algorithms to IBM’s Watson to autonomous weapons.
Artificial intelligence today is properly known as narrow AI (or weak AI), in that it is designed to perform a narrow task (e.g. only facial recognition or only internet searches or only driving a car). However, the long-term goal of many researchers is to create general AI (AGI or strong AI).
In order to enhance the knowledge of students and to show them the career path towards AI, the “School of CSIT”, SUAS, Indore conducted this one day Workshop. The chief speakers were Mr Dipanshu Bhinda (CEO, TDB Technologies, Indore), Mr Kunal and his team members. They gave a live demo of image recognition from a sample data. They also explained students about the future scope of AI and machine learning.
The chief coordinator were Prof Manish Khule, Prof Neha Sharma, and student coordinators were Shreyasi gour, Rishi Sharma.
