A webinar on the topic ‘Why Staying Agile helps you ride the next Wave of Disruption? Lessons learned in 2020’ was organised by School of Retail Management (SSOU, SUAS) on 7^th April 2021. The resource person was Ms. Sona Nambiar Founder and Editor Kimiyaa Technologies FZCO Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE. A total 77 students attended the session. The session started with a brief introduction of the guest. Speaker started with a brief sharing of her achievements and journey till date. She further explained the theme of the webinar, the ability to be agile, adapting quickly and responding fast to new and changing demands is imperative to modern software development and delivery…. An agile environment allows organizations to respond to demand and pivot when needed. She further emphasized on why one should be agile ? Agile has become the go-to framework for helping app startups and development agencies maintain a focus on delivering a quality app ー quickly and efficiently. Agile maximizes value throughout the development process and significantly reduces the overall risk of any given project. The session ended with certain principles to be followed and vote of thanks.
